The Bison Track Show is an extreme competition for the best tractor racer in Russia. Among the participants are ordinary rural machine operators from collective and state farms. The competition takes place in several stages on a 11 kilometers long track with obstacles.

Ali’s racing tractor. Getting it ready for the race was an uphill struggle, so much so that it wasn’t clear until the very last day whether the tractor could be properly put together. Ali and his colleagues offer advices to the mechanics concerning engine repairs a few days before the race.

In 2015, the Bison track show was held in Russia’s Rostov region. All participants drove Belarus-model tractors with installed sports seats and rolled-over bars and firmly fixed hoods. Helmets were mandatory.
