Competition 2015
The Andrei Stenin International Photo Contest is an annual contest for young photojournalists aged between 18 and 33 years old. It is Russia’s only platform for discovering new photojournalists and for allowing them to make a name for themselves on the world photojournalism stage.
The 2015 contest was showcase five categories for which young photographers can vie for awards:
1. Top News.
2. Current Issue.
3. Sports.
4. Everyday Life.
In 2015, about 5,000 entries from 54 countries were submitted for the first contest. Its geographical base spanned four continents, including countries of Europe, North and South America, Africa, the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia. Russian participants were widely represented – from Moscow to St. Petersburg and from Vladivostok to Nakhodka. The awards ceremony took place in Moscow and the winning entries were presented to the public at exhibitions and festival venues inside and outside Russia.
The awards ceremony, where the winner of the most important award in the competition – the Grand Prix was announced, took place in Moscow on June 03, 2015.
