For a whole year, Vova has spent twenty minutes every evening in an infrared sauna that helps clear his body of toxins. The toxins are excreted through the pores of his skin rather than his liver or kidneys.
Vova did not get enough sleep. His mom must carry him to the bathroom. Otherwise he will miss his morning routine.
Vova sleeps naked out of an old habit. A year and a half ago his skin was oversensitive and any fabric felt too scratchy.
Vova’s mom prepares him for school. He got interested in a book in the morning and paid no attention to anyone or anything else.

Vova sings songs with his granny.
Vova’s father helps him clean his teeth. Vova does not know how to do it himself. Usually he simply eats the toothpaste, because he likes its taste very much.
Evening bath routine.
Out for a walk with his nanny’s family, including her husband and son.
Visiting his granny.
Only Vova knows what he thinks when he stares at glasses of juice. It is difficult to guess another person’s thoughts, and next to impossible to guess those of someone with autism.
Vova’s granny and sister visit. He jumps on the trampoline, which helps him feel his body.
Vova hugs Nastya, his nanny.
Exercising on a gym ball.
To help Vova better control his body, his parents introduced perceptual integration into his rehabilitation program. His movements are still awkward and clumsy, but less so than before.
At school. Vova goes to the canteen, holding his teacher’s hand.
Vova feels confident at school. He can make it from the entrance to the cloakroom and then to his class, but if,
for example, the hangers are replaced without notice, he will become hysterical.
Physical fitness class. Vova’s dad does not leave the boy for a moment; he won’t make it without help.
At school, Vova looks into the mirror before class.
On a walk with mom and granny. As expected, they remain outside the focus of his attention.
