Stenin Photo Contest presents photo display at Russia-Islamic World forum

The exhibition, A Woman’s View: How do women see the world?, showcases 25 photographs by women photographers, winners of the competition in different years from Russia and a number of countries of the Islamic world.

Each image reflects the distinct perspective that women bring into the world around them, finding harmony and kindness in the most dramatic contexts, reflecting on the deeper causes behind both simple and complex phenomena and create a picture of the world captured from unexpected angles.

The exhibition also features a “female perspective” on the events during the International Economic Forum Russia-Islamic World. These images have been taken by women photographers from RIA Novosti, which once again acts as the general media partner and official photo hosting agency of the forum.

Sputnik, another agency of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, is also the forum’s media partner.
